Corporal Robert M. Dauderman served in the Army from 1953-1955, 114th Quartermaster Graves Registration Company, during the Korean Conflict. He served in Pusan, Korea during Operation Glory. He has been honored with a National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and Korean Service Ribbon. Mr. Dauderman's story was captured by two teachers, Tony Lehr and Eve Lehr during a Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's Teaching with Primary Sources teacher development event in June 2013.
